china exchange trip
well... let's see.., it was a short but long but memorable trip. let's c... i wasnt excited about going realli... but it turned out to be pretty interesting an experience.. let's see.... we did the standard stuff: the walks in the park; up the great wall; shopping ( my tian~ those dudes r serious aunties whn it comes to shopping!! bargain bargain!! MORE SHOPPING!!lol...=D) thn we also had the standard exchange trip stuff: the lesson observations; pottery n paper cutting; n well, MORE lesson observations [trust i was erm, observing the lessons... MOST INTENTLY! =D o yes i was!! =D] can u tell i'm v lazy to update by now??=D WELL! for want of sth to do...i shall trudge on...=D mmm let's comment la hor.. wahaha
went to 2 schools: shida FU ZHONG , n SHI DA
FU ZHONG: pleasant place la... mmm... they were well, flushed with cash; or at least as flushed with cash as flushed with cash can get in china... =) but the school realli was quite cool la... had PLENTY of exhibtions. it was basically a museum-cum-billard centre-cum-science centre-cum-etc... yap... nice new labs.. had interesting [what do u call tt?] samples?? erm... wtv u call it la... those things u dissect n put in glass bottles... *pardon me!* but i found tt realli cool lol... erm, saw quite a few things tt were interesting: foetuses; preserved animals [hell! they were well preserved ]; intestines ya... thy had nice butterfly beetles samples too, along some corridor thing. ya. the ppl were, well, erm, polite? =)
SHI DA: haa...love this school... it wasn't as well off as fu zhong -less heaters!- but i felt warmth in the cold winter there. haha... simply welcoming. *big smile!!** =Ddont think i nd to say too much la... it was a wonderful place. =)

haha, im guilty of judging ppl from how they dress la... cus i din exactly wana pressure any1 into donating if thy dont want to... so i normally go for those who look more well off..since they prob have more to spare... ya.. bt i still target any1 hu fall into my zone...so ya...thr was this family... didnt dub prada gucci, not even hangten bossini...in fact, thy went about as branded as bibi n baba.. bt i went up to thm anyway... =) haha...thn did my standard speech...thy too refused da pic...thn i went donation? thn the family [entire family mind you, mother father child child] nodded at each other..=)n guess wat....thy donated 40...n even refused da voucher booklet.. [haa...bt i forced it on thm la...=D]wow.. tt simple gesture taught me quite alot... ya... wow... amazing ppl...
